In this practice we drop into our physical presence, so we can appreciate each other's connected presence. Curiosity is one of the most enjoyable ways to get there, noticing in each moment how we are subtly changing. With this approach, we are also co-regulating our nervous system. We will start by using our senses to find new ways to experience our partner. To begin you will start by focusing from within, centering on your own inner state and your space. Then you will sit and connect with your partner to the shared space, and notice each other's landscapes. This develops: Spatial awareness. Attunement with self and attunement with another. Nervous system co-regulation.

When we become complacent with each other, we need to remember the interesting things about each other. By developing a curious perspective, we develop attunement with self and attunement with another. This helps us appreciate each other and stay connected to each other when things start to feel boring.
More present, attuned, appreciative, emotionally open, and connected.
Sit together somewhere quiet where you won't be interrupted. Shared earbuds or speaker recommended. Pillows for sitting or a cozy sitting area is best.
